Le Cinq Codet Hotel
Paris, France
Full bath by the bed
Like all hotels designed by interior designer Jean-Philippe Nuel, the hotel "Le Cinq Codet" in Paris, which opened in 2014, is characterised by the interplay of classic elegance and contemporary design. The five-star hotel is located in a former Telecom France building from the 1930s, which has been extensively renovated for its new function. The characteristic horizontal formats of the windows and the semi-circular front of the building have been retained. Instead, Nuel transfers the swing of the façade to the interior of the guest rooms with rounded design elements and fixtures. Openness and soft shapes also determine the concept here: Nuel has placed a free-standing, conically shaped bathtub by Bette in the middle of the room ensemble. In the colour combination of black and white, the BetteStarlet Oval Silhouette confidently invites you to a successful moment of relaxation. View of Paris included.
