A floor-level shower tray makes your shower walkable
We have a passion for innovative design. Our concept of the floor-level shower has changed the market, set trends worldwide and is increasingly becoming the standard. We are continuously continuing this tradition: with our minimalist walk-in showers and with the world's first shower tile, the BetteAir.
Our flush-to-floor showers blend harmoniously into any architectural design and can be realised in almost any ambience thanks to state-of-the-art technology. This is how we create comfort without thresholds, a generous spatial effect and absolute freedom of movement. And even in your favourite colour. Any questions?
Why a floor-level shower?
The advantages of a floor-level shower are many. In addition to modern aesthetics, accessibility and comfort are the most important reasons for choosing a floor-level shower. Our glazed titanium steel ensures that cleaning is easy and resistance is great.
Easy care
Our floor-level shower trays are easy to clean. Where other floor-level showers have joints between the tiles that make maintenance difficult, we create a glass-hard and pore-free surface that provides virtually no foothold for dirt and bacteria. The necessary slope for the water to run off is integrated almost imperceptibly into the floor-level shower surface. A damp cloth is all that is needed for maintenance. No harsh cleaning agents are needed at all. This saves time and protects the environment.
Floor-level shower surface vs. shower tile
Anyone building a new bathroom or redesigning an existing one will often come up against the question: tiled shower with a shower channel, or floor-level shower area? We compare the two solutions:
Bette shower areas
• cover the sensitive shower area without joints
• have a robust, glass-hard surface and do not provide a foothold for dirt
• are easy to clean
• reliably protect the building envelope from water penetration
• are permanently revisable and a sustainable investment in quality and longevity
Joints in a tiled shower area
• are real dirt traps
• provide a good breeding ground for germs and bacteria
• are difficult to clean
• cause water damage due to porous joints
• are time-consuming and costly to repair and maintain
• are not reusable during reconstruction and renovation work
What should be considered when planning a floor-level shower?
With a floor-level shower surface, you can create a barrier-free solution for the bathroom. When planning, you only need to consider a few points: the height of the floor and the question of drainage - sideways or vertical? The slope of the floor-level shower surface ensures that the water always flows to the drain.
